Alpine Seeds took female plants from one of their favourite strains, a Northern Lights / White Widow cross and fertilised them with male Chemdog / Sour Diesel plants. The resultant strain is X-Dog - a high THC prodicing plant that gives something of a sativa effect along with the hard-hitting stoned feeling valued in so many medical applications. The original Chemdog cuttings have exchanged hands for $1000 in the US and it has become one of the favourite and best known strains of cannabis there.

X-Dog F1 seeds produce two phenotypes; one with more sativa characteristics and long foxtail-like buds with the other being more indica influenced as displayed by the denser, more compact buds. Both, however, lack nothing in terms of potency and aroma. Very strong smelling plants with notes of ripe fruits and spices with a marked spicy cinnamon flavour. X-Dog has a very vigorous growth pattern and good yields.
