Barneys Farm Feminised Seeds

Barney's Farm Feminised Cannabis Seeds

Barneys Farm now offers an expanded range of feminised cannabis seeds. These seeds are very popular as they grow into female cannabis plants in about 99% of cases. Clearly this is a big advantage as no time or space is wasted in tending unwanted male plants where such cultivation is legal.

Barneys Farm Seeds, one of the leading cannabis seed banks from Amsterdam, includes six Cannabis Cup winners in its range. This seed bank was established following the owner's acquisition of Barney's Breakfast Bar and Coffeeshop on the Haarlemmerstraat in Amsterdam in 1992 after returning to Europe from Asia.

Barneys Farm Back Story

Derry, the owner had collected a variety of land-race cannabis seeds from countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Tibet, Thailand, Burma, Vietnam and China. Settling in the Himalayas for 3 years gave him the time and knowledge to begin to selectively breed these diverse strains, choosing phenotypes for their taste, aroma and THC levels. The most promising were then back-crossed in order to stabilise them. On his return to Europe Amsterdam provided the correct atmosphere and opportunity to further develop his strains and to launch them commercially as Barney's Farm Seeds. The coffee-shop was a great place for these strains to become known and celebrated by cannabis afficionados and they started to attract a lot of attention from smokers in general and the cannabis press in particular.

Today Barneys Farm is a recognised world leader in the production of top quality female cannabis seeds and continues to search for and collect indigenous genetics from far and wide. The passion and commitment they have is reflected in their search to provide new and exciting feminised cannabis strains. Now most of these exciting varieties are available in packs of 5 and 10 Barneys Farm Feminised Seeds.
